The class is 4 days, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM Tuesday through Friday.

We would be happy to schedule a class that is most convenient for you.

You can bring some damaged pieces if you would like, but if you don't, we have plenty.

The course fee includes a restoration kit (enough material to restore many pieces) and our continued support for your future projects.


Also, included is Volumes 1-7 Restoration Course eBooks.

The cost of the class is 1500.00.

50% down is required to schedule then the balance is due the first day of class.

​​1.  Cleaning and Stain Removal
Cleaning can involve washing at the sink or removing old repairs and old glues or removing all stains.

​The piece must be completely clean and stain free for the very best restoration.

Pottery, Porcelain and China Restoration Classes

More things you will learn:

Receiving inspection, cleaning, stain removal, replacing missing parts, fill and sanding,

color matching and painting, care and use of the airbrush,

setting up a correct workstation, correct lighting, introduction to tools, materials and work area, suppliers list and much more.


​​2.  Structural Repair

Structural Repair ensures the strength and durability of the piece.

Structural repair must be secure.

A poor structural repair must never be covered with color or glaze.

​​​​3.  Fill & Replace Missing Parts
When structural repair is complete, filling missing areas or replacing missing parts are the next option.

4.  Color and Glaze
Color paint matching, mixing & application must be correct for the final appearance.

Our restoration classes are held at Frog Pond School near Seneca, Missouri.


Frog Pond School is our pottery restoration studio and classroom.


It is a short walking distance from our home.
